Our Purpose
At Strikezone Radio, our mission is to enhance the entertainment experience in bowling centers by providing a reliable, high-quality music subscription service. We aim to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty by offering a consistent, diverse range of music that sets the perfect atmosphere for a fun and enjoyable bowling session. Most importantly, we maximize the likelihood of your customers retuning to bowl again.
Our Story
We invented the bowling music broadcast concept in September of 1996 with the first satellite broadcast of Bowling Radio - Rock 300 which connected Stadium Lanes in San Angelo, Texas with Harvester Lanes in Pampa, Texas. Rock 300 was a live show created by bowling proprietor, Paul Alexander, including on-air personalities led by J.Pat McKaye, Joey Vasquez, Karol Allen and other longtime radio industry enthusiasts. Over the next 13-years, Rock 300 was broadcast into over 700 bowling centers across all 50-states in the U.S.A. In 2003, a sister-company called StudioStream was formed to broadcast a similar music program to ~3500 Sonic Drive-in locations across America. Since the Rock 300 name was sold in 2009, StudioStream has taken the lead in creating a new version of bowling radio called StrikeZone Radio.
With 31-years of combined experience between the two companies, StudioStream has an extensive knowledge of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to music, and we know how to enhance the bowling experience among the greatest range of demographics similar to what commonly is found in a bowling center at any given time. When you connect to StrikeZone Radio, your center benefits from our expertise. We have made it very easy to connect to our music broadcast, so we can get you started today.
